I am passionate about guiding and nurturing children to their fullest potentials. Working with children has been my lifelong dream. I just love, love, love what I do.
I am a mom to three kind-hearted children and two shetland sheep dogs. People who know me will say I am 100 per cent kid centered. It is my goal to create the most enjoyable quality early educational experiences.
My professional experience with young children includes taking the Early Childhood Education program, teaching in preschool classrooms, facilitating a community parent participation preschool program, nannying abroad, coaching and teaching English as a second language. I also hold an education in journalism. I have had jobs in the communications field, as well as, roles with-in the BC Government.

I'm originally from South Africa. I moved to Canada in 2001. I currently live in South Surrey and I have a 5-year-old son. I completed my Early Childhood Education Certificate at Langley College in 2010.
I just love working in this field with children and their families. I'm passionate about the importance of providing high quality care to children and helping create a warm and welcoming environment where their curiosity is ignited. Photography has been an important part of my life for the past few years. I especially enjoy capturing little moments of connection between family members in my photos. I also love the outdoors and often take time to enjoy our beautiful forests and beaches.
For 20 years, I have enjoyed being a child care provider. I have my Early Childhood Education Certificate along with my Infant Toddler & Special Needs Certifications. I have worked with children of all ages. I find it most rewarding to care for infants and toddlers.
My friends and family would describe me as kind, reliable, and trust worthy.
Some of my hobbies are spending time with my family, travelling, camping, and relaxing with my friends.

Hello! I live in White Rock with my husband and our children. I am originally from Indonesia. I have worked in Canada and abroad as a nanny and in a childcare centers as an Early Childhood Educator. My teammates would tell you I am, artistic, easy going, hard working and dedicated to nurturing and creating positive connections with the children I care for and their families. I received my Early Childhood Education Diploma from MTI Community Collage in 2017. I love working with Children. I am so happy I can work in an environment I feel passionate about.
I completed my Early Childhood Education Program at Surrey Community College in 2014. More recently, I obtained my Infant and Toddler Certification. I have spent much of my life enjoying dance and cheerleading competitively. During that time, I also coached young children in dance, cheerleading and swimming. It gives me great pleasure when I see them succeed. I know that’s where my love for teaching children has come from.
What I love most about being a team member at Baby Acorns is the people. My amazing co-workers, the children and all of the wonderful families we see every day. They make coming to “work” so easy and a great pleasure. I love the boutique style of care we offer because it makes all of us feel like one big family.
My hobbies include: spending time with my family and friends, walking my two rescue fur babies, swimming, photography, working out and paddle boarding.
What inspires me as an Early Childhood Educator is how much I learn from the children. They help me grow and develop just as I help them grow and develop. It is a meaningful exchange that I am so grateful for.
My hobbies and interests include: being active and outdoors with my husband, our big dog and our 5-year-old son. We especially love neighbourhood walks and spending time with family at the local parks.
After having my own in-home daycare for 5 years, I was delighted to change things up and join the Little Acorns and Baby Acorns team. What I love most about being part of this team is we work together so well. I have the pleasure of working alongside the most knowledgeable women and the kindest families.
Working with children fills my heart and inspires me. With over 20 year of experience working with young children, I am dedicated to providing high quality child care. In addition to my Early Childhood Education Certification I also have my Special Education Assistant Certification. I specialize in adapting ECE programming to support children with special needs. I am committed to nurturing a safe and happy environment.
I live in South Surrey with my wonderful son and husband. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, watching my son play soccer and gardening.
What inspires me most about working with children is the opportunity to have a positive influence on them. I have been working with children for over five years. In addition to my Early Childhood Education Assistance Certification, I am a certified Applied Behaviour Therapist. When I am not at Little Acorns Junior Kindergarten and Child Care I can be found at the Surrey School District working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I love my jobs!
What I love about working at Little Acorns Junior Kindergarten and Child Care is that it is a welcoming environment.
My hobbies include: walking my dog(Rylee), enjoying nature and reading.
What inspires me about working with children is their unique charm, inquisitive minds and their unbridled enthusiasm for all things. I recently graduated from Stenberg College as and Early Childhood Educator.

Currently on Maternity Leave - I have been working in the field of early childhood education since 2006. I graduated from Langara College with my ECE, Infant toddler and special needs certificates. I lived in Vancouver for the past 15 years. After getting married and becoming pregnant we decided to move back to South Surrey. We have a little boy named Ray and a 3 year old dog named Hilda. In Vancouver, I was part of a community-based parent participation preschool for the last 10 years. I am passionate about children learning through play, peer to peer interactions, outdoor programming, mindfulness and professional development.
